Digital Arts

This year in Digital Arts 1, I came in as a newbie, not knowing
anything. My sister before me took all the years of Digital Arts possible and
is on her way to achieve her major in art. Myself on the other hand knows
nothing about art and admittedly did not enjoy the first weeks of the class.
The more I learned and the harder I tried I began to achieve more than I could
have hoped. Mrs. Thompson helped me through the entire semester (no matter how
obnoxious I was). By the end, I can proudly say I enjoyed the class and all the came with it.
This was the first landscape that I could proudly say this is mine. I found four colors that I liked from "colour lover" and smeared them into mountains, the sky, and body of water. To make the reflection I extended the canvas, duplicated the picture, flipped it, and used ocean ripple.
The second pop art that I did was more of a side project. I took my picture shaded in the shadows and created the background to match. The process in all was simple but tedious.

For my pop art project I thought it to be hilarious to add
some facial because in fact, I’m too much of a boy to actually grow any.
The actually aspect of sketching myself was very easy but trying not to look
too much like a drunk was very hard. I eventually managed to get my appearance
down to an acceptable form. This pop art project had the most reward for the
amount of effort given. Simple yet rewarding

This master piece is what I made during our "mythical beast" project. The caption describes the creature as a "denim" monster. I used jean texture to make the spikes, straw for the tiny feet, and snake leather for the scales. It inhabits a small planet called "Terra Magma" (which my neighbor Ryan H. likes to harass me about :P).
